OBITUARY
Sarah Ella Pearl was born near Sterling, Illinois, April 14, 1859 and died at her home in Nevada, Feb 7, 1919. after four weeks of illness following a stroke of paralysis. She left Illinois with her parents at the age of eleven years, moving to Nevada where she spent the rest of her life. She was united in marriage to Joshua Bryant Jan. 9,, 1875. To this union were born six children, three of whom died in infancy. The others are Mrs. May Jackson of Belle Plaine, Mrs. Melva Wampler of Colo and Byron Bryant of Nevada. Besides her children she leaves to mourn her husband , one brother J. C. Pearl of Redlands, Cal., and many relatives and friends.
She was buried with her Lord in baptism 25 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ at this place and her faith and hope proved true to the last and were as light and anchor to her soul, as proved by the verses in the 14th and 15th chapters of John which she had marked during her last days. She believed and lives. The sympathy of the community is extended to the loved ones in their grief.
