Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

John H. Miller was born February 12, 1942 to Howard and Thelma (Skortman) Miller in Ames, Iowa. He worked as a machine operator at 3M Company for over 25 years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and Iowa State basketball and football. John was also passionate about collecting antiques.

John died at 74 years of age on December 20, 2016 at the Madrid Home in Madrid, Iowa.

John is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Dave) Meyer of Panora; four grandchildren, Clark Miller, Nick (Amanda) McGuire, Sean McGuire and Lindsey Meyer; three great-grandchildren, Dillon McGuire, Parker McGuire and Kiersten McGuire; and his sister, Linda (Kent) Woodworth of Ames.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Brian Miller
