OBITUARY

Death of Mrs. Frank Slaughter

Friends have been advised in this county of the death of Mrs. Frank L. Slaughter, formerly of Roland and Story City but in recent years of Kinsley, Kansas. Her death occurred Monday forenoon at Hutchison, Kansas, presumably at a hospital there, and the body is now enroute for Roland, where the funeral will be held at a date not yet fixed. Mrs. Slaughter's maiden name was Linnie Hegland, and she was one of the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Ole O. Hegland of Roland, and a sister of Mrs. H. E. Myrah and Mrs. Otis Boyd of Roland, of Mrs. A. M. Henderson of Story City, of Mrs. B. M. Rasmussen, now at Stevanger, Norway, and of Mrs. Fred E. Hansen of Nevada. Mr. Slaughter was formerly in the practice of law at Story City but moved to Kansas a number of years ago. They have no children.
