ROLAND ROCKETS

Dora Rod, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Rod died at her home here in Roland on September 17, at 6:30 a. m. She was born in Roland February 13, 1887 and with the exception of a few years spent in Wisconsin this had been her home. Here she attended the public schools, happy and content with her numerous associates. A awhile back her health began to fail, and gradually grew weaker and weaker, suffering from that dreaded disease, consumption. Thus we sadly note the passing of one in the bloom of youth. She was a patient sufferer, realizing that life must soon be surrendered. The funeral was held Monday at Bergen's church attended by a large congregation.
