The sudden death of the two children of Mrs. Martha Evans was very sad. Florence aged eleven years died at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday, the fifteenth, and Claude, aged fifteen, died at seven o'clock the following morning. Claude had been under the physician's care since Sunday and Florence since Monday, both being affected with stomach and bowel trouble, and while anxiety was felt in the case of each, neither was thought to be critical till shortly before the death of Florence. The bereaved mother is the object of deep sympathy.
