Death of Alonzo Thomas

Alonzo Thomas died last Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Johnson, at the advanced age of 85 years and 5 months. Mr. Thomas has been in feeble health for some time and his death has been expected for several weeks. He was born in Ohio where he grew to manhood. Since the death of his wife, he has made his home with his children. Funeral services were conducted at the house Sunday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. Isham. The remains were then taken to the Slater cemetery where interment was made.
