Julia Ann Brock of Ames, passed away September 22, 2016. A Memorial visitation will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday September 27th at Stevens Memorial Chapel (607 28th St., Ames, IA 50010).

Julia was born September 27, 1958 in Minnesota to Lloyd and Nellie (Toms) Brock. She obtained her diploma and went on to take classes at an online school. She enjoyed spending time laughing and joking with her friends and family, searching for beautiful stones by the river. Her greatest love was playing with her grandkids, creating water guns out of pop bottles and filling totes with water for an epic water battle in the front yard. She will be remembered by those who knew her for being "fun sized" her contagious laugh and a smile that could light up a room.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents; Lloyd and Nellie Brock, her brother, as well as several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her fiancé; Marvin Reiter, daughters; Jessica (Bryan) Jacobs, Wendy (Isaac) Stanley, son; Joey (Judy) Schieffer, 11 grandchildren, and her brother Larry.
