Bruce David Lilland was born February 13, 1954 to Lester J. and Eva E. (Gasper) Lilland in Des Moines, Iowa He was baptized, confirmed, and a member at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. Bruce graduated from Ballard High School in 1972 and worked as a custodian. He enjoyed NASCAR races.

Bruce passed away September 18, 2016 at 62 years of age.

Bruce is survived by his son, Jeff (Ashley) Lilland of Ankeny; his daughter, Krysta (Ernie) Rose of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, Malcolm Lilland, Eli Lilland, Angie Lilland and Zack Palan; and two sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Christianson of Huxley and Linda (Steve) Larson of Ames.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Shawn Lilland and Zachary Lilland.
