Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Anna Helene Jewell was born on October 5, 1946 in Story City, Iowa to Wilmer Christian and Julia Aletta (Haugland) Jewell. Anna served in US Army and then was a computer systems analyst with the US military and the IRS. After retiring she moved to Bay City, Michigan where she helped to tutor students in math. Anna enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, and seafood. Her family was very important to her and she made frequent trips to see them.

Anna passed away September 1, 2016 at Bethany Manor in Story City at the age of 69.

She is survived by three brothers, Charles (Virigina) Jewell of Jewell, Jerry Jewell of St. Louis, MO and Don (Sue) Jewell of Gainsville, VA; a sister, Nancy Jewell of Story City; a sister-in-law, Carol Jewell of Story City; a brother-in-law, Larry Cherry of San Jose, CA; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carroll and James and a sister, Doris Powers-Cherry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Bethany Life.
