Mrs. Elizabeth Myers died at the home of her sister Mrs. Berger, July 18th and was buried in the Colo Cemetery July 20th. Rev. J. M. Bamford conducted the funeral services in the Evangelical church. Mrs. Myers was born in Germany in 1849, and came her a short time ago, from Maryland. She was afflicted for the past ten years with softening of the born, and was a great sufferer, being unable to walk or feed herself. Death came as a relief to her, although she had the best of care that could be bestowed upon her during her long illness.
