DEATH OF MRS. FRANK COOK.
Mrs. Frank Cook died at her home in this city Monday forenoon quite suddenly. The cause of her death was consumption, on account of which she had been in failing health for some time; but her condition had not apparently nearly approached the critical stage; for she was still up and about, and on the morning she died she was up and ate her breakfast. Her death was therefore a very great shock to husband and friends. Her maiden name was Lulu Franklin, and she was born at Adel in Dallas county December 31, 1883. She grew up there and was married to Frank Cook May 19, 1901. Since that time she had lived in Nevada, where she died as stated on July 25, 1904, aged 20 years 6 months and 25 days.
Mrs. Cook was an attractive and most estimable young woman, and her untimely and excites much regret and sympathy. Brief services were conducted from her late home here Tuesday morning by Rev. J. O. Simon of the Lutheran church, and her remains were taken thence to Adel, where the funeral proper and burial took place.
