Joseph Mills, in his eighty-eight year died May 27 at the home of his son, William Mills, in Grant township. he was a native of Ireland and came to Ames in 1869. His surviving children are Mrs. Harland Erb and W. H. Mills of Grant township and Mrs. Hutchison of Dakota.
