Mrs. Feldman died Sunday
Mrs. Lydia M. Feldman, 1013 Wilson Ave., died about S a.m. Sunday at her home. She had been in ill health for the past year. Born in Iowa City, she came to Ames in 1919. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational and the Women's Auxiliary of the church, the Iowa Dental Society Auxiliary, the Neediecraft Club, and past president of Chapter HO of P.E.O. She and Dr. R. D. Feldman were married Feb. 12, 1919. He survives, along with two sons, Dr. Louis W. Feldman of Rolfe and Dr. Earl Feldman of Ames; two brothers, Emil Hesselschwerdt of Kalona and David Hesselschwerdt of St. Joseph, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Marie Sykes of Newton and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the First Congregational Church here with the Rev. Russell Fate officiating. Burial is to be in Ames Municipal Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Adams Funeral Home until noon, Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established for her church. Gifts may be left at the Ames Trust and Savings Bank
