Daniel Craig Borden was born September 17, 1967 to Ronald R. and Judith A. (Noll) Borden in Davenport, Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1991 from Iowa State University. He received a Masters of Business Administration, also from Iowa State University, in 2007. Daniel was Supply Chain Manager for Trinity Structural Towers. Daniel and Andrea Schoenbaum were married August 14, 1993. He enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, playing guitar, reading, and poetry. He especially enjoyed being with his family.

Daniel passed away at 48 years of age on June 8, 2016 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Andrea Borden of Colo; his children, Dain A. Borden and Aydin N. Borden, both of Colo; and his father, Ronald Borden of Henrico, Va.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith; and his brother, Ronald Todd Borden.

Memorials may be directed to the family which will be used to establish a college fund.
