Hattie Cole, youngest daughter of Henry Cole, died Thursday, April 25, after a lingering attack of consumption. The circumstances attending her death were indeed sad. Less than two years ago, her sister Lizzie died of the same disease. Hattie was 19 years of age, a lovable young lady, noble in her character and life. The funeral services were held Saturday April 27th, at 10 a. m., in the C. P. church, Rev. R. A. Ferguson assisted by Rev. A. L. Curtis conducting the last sad rites. Interment was made at Green Valley.
