Obituary.

Amanda Hoel*, wife of Peter Hoel was born in Norway, March 29, 1830, and died at their home in Nevada at 2 o'clock Sunday morning, April 21, 1895.

On Oct. 11, 1852, they were united in marriage. During the year of 1868, they emigrated to America and for the past twenty-five years have resided in Nevada. To them were born three sons and one daughter. As a companion and mother she was always kind and solicitous for the welfare and happiness of her husband and children. During her latter years she was great sufferer from a lingering disease, yet she bore her suffering with Christian resignation. Quietly yet consciously she passed away to her reward. She was a member of the Lutheran church in Norway. The funeral services were held Monday at 2 o'clock at the family residence and were conducted by Rev. I. Feglty. [sic]
