Jeffrey Ernest Johnson, 52, of Nevada, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at his home in Nevada.

Jeff was born October 26, 1963, in Boone, Iowa the son of Richard Milton and Doris Jeanne (Nixon) Johnson. He graduated from Roland-Story High School in 1981 and enjoyed fishing and photography.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Douglas Johnson of Nevada; his sister, Sherry Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida; his aunt and uncle, Bob and Carolyn Strong of Jacksonville, Florida; and his nephews: Eric and Brad Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Kenneth and Terry Johnson; and a nephew, Dwight Johnson.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
