Steven R. Lankford was born July 3, 1954 to Glen and Donna (Buchannan) Lankford in Fairfield, Iowa. Steve and Linda Page were married on May 18, 1979. Steve was President and CEO of Boyer Valley Company. He enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, hunting and riding his Harley. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Steve passed away May 13, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 61.

Steve is survived by his wife, Linda Lankford of Story City; two daughters, Angella Rosado of Fort Worth, Texas and Amanda (Jeremiah) Curley of Ankeny; three sons, Timothy Lankford of Camarillo, Calif., Joshua (Mallory) Lankford of West Des Moines and Joey (Tonya) Reinders of Aureila; four grandchildren, Maddox, Elijah, Braelyn and Gannon; his mother, Donna Lankford of Sac City; and his siblings, Michael (Donna) Lankford, Dan (Robin) Lankford and Sharon (Rob) Foote, all of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Lankford; and his sister, Christine Lankford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Church Camp Fund, 3504 Grand Avenue, Ames, IA 50010.
