AMES.

Deacon Hezekiah Gilbert died Thursday evening and was buried from the Congregational church Saturday afternoon. Mr. G. had been confined to his bed for many months and during his long and weary confinement had show great patience and fortitude. He was 80 years of age. He had for many years been a deacon of the Congregational church were he will be greatly missed. His sympathies were with any worthy cause and his life was in every way most commendable.
