Ole Wierson one of the early settlers died here Saturday morning and will be buried Tuesday afternoon. Obituary next week.

ROLAND ROCKETS

The funeral of Ole Wierson, whose death as mentioned in last weeks issue, occurred here last Tuesday at Bergens church conducted by Rev. Smedal. The passing of Ole Weirson takes one more of Howard's early settlers from the scene of life and in is [sic] death this community loses one of its esteemed and honored citizens. Having lived nearly to the age of 80 years he finished the task given him to do and leaves the duties and care of life to others. Mrs. Weirson and five children are left behind, four sons and one daughter, Eric the oldest son lives near Radcliffe, Ole and Weir live north east of Roland, Bernhard lives here in Roland. The daughters, Mrs. Severt Olson resides in Minnesota. All the children were present at the time of death except Mrs. Olson who came in time to attend the funeral.
