OBITUARY

Death of Mrs. Pond

Mrs. Jennie Pond, widow of the late A. S. Pond of Milford township, and, also of the late Alexander Dinsmore of Nevada, died at her home in this city Monday forenoon, aged about eighty years. Her maiden name was Jennie Snyder, and she was married to Mr. Dinsmore, being his second wife, November 15, 1871. They lived for many years in the family home on Pine street south of the water tank, where Mr. Dinsmore died in the 90's. She was again married September to, 1902 to A. S. Pond, and thereafter lived for several years northwest of Nevada. Mr. Pond died on April 25, 1907, since about which time she has lived in Nevada. She had been an invalid for some time. She leaves many friends but no children.
