Marion Paul Adams was born November 7, 1928 in Roland, Iowa: the son of Emory and Clara (Fields) Adams. He served in the United States Navy from 1946 until his honorable discharge in 1948. Marion was united in marriage to Dolores Clough, at her parents’ home in Waterloo, on January 18, 1948. He was a dispatcher, until his retirement after 32 years, at CW Shirey. Marion enjoyed fishing, collecting model cars and traveling with his wife. He also was on a bowling league for 25 years.

Marion passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at ManorCare at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Diana Rozmus Haggerty; 4 brothers: Lee, Melvin, Ivan and Wilbur and 5 sisters: Lola, Vilda, Eunice, Doris and Opal. Marion is survived by his wife Dolores of Waterloo; a son Jeffrey Adams of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter Paula Phillips of Waterloo; 5 grandchildren: Matthew Anderson, Tony, Chadd, Rex Rozmus and Mindy Baylor; 4 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.

Marion will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
