Betty Leona Lineweaver, 74, of Ames passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, at Story County Senior Care in Nevada.

Betty was born April 13, 1941, in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. She graduated from Pardeeville High School and attended the University of Wisconsin. Betty had worked in real estate in the 1970’s and 1980’s and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and writing.

Betty is survived by her son, David Lineweaver of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the Ames Municipal Cemetery in Ames.

Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
