Chase Rylee Mohler, 17, of Maxwell passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Chase was born August 8, 1998, in Ames to Jason Lee and Meggen Leigh (Mohler) Lawrence. He was a member of the Loring United Methodist Church and was in his junior year at Collins-Maxwell High School. Chase worked summers at Syngenta and had been in Boy Scouts. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking and anything outdoors.

Chase is survived by his parents, Jason (Meggen) Lawrence of Maxwell; his sister, Faith Lawrence of Boone; his brothers: Parker and Owen Lawrence of Maxwell; his maternal grandparents: Deborah Hobson of Utah, Doug Fuller of Maxwell and Martin Mohler of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Danny and Sandra Lawrence.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Maxwell Community Center in Maxwell. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m.

In Chase’s memory, the family asks that you would consider becoming an organ/blood donor.

Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.
