Deanna Jean Findley was born on July 23, 1951 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Raymond and Effie (Cole) Rupe. She was married to Allan Dehm from 1969 to 1988 and to this union two children were born, Donald and Leanna. She then married Earl Eugene Findley. Deanna has been battling stage IV cancer for the past three years. She retired from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny early due to her medical problems. She dearly loved her church and her family. Deanna enjoyed gardening, painting, crafting and attending her grandchildren’s ball games. She was a spiritual, strong, and loving woman who was loved by many.

Deanna passed away at 64 years of age on February 10, 2016 at her home in Roland.

Deanna is survived by her husband Earl “Gene” Findley of Roland; a son, Donald (Brenda) Dehm; a daughter, Leanna (Robert) Ellis; a step-son, Shane (Bridget) Findley; 14 grandchildren; and her siblings, Rosa Lee Prevett, James (Carolyn) Rupe, Donald (Janie) Rupe, Shirley (Bruce) Wood, Peggy Carter, and John (Rhonda) Rupe.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
