Roger William Dahl was born October 20, 1948 to Stanley and Marjorie (Ripkey) Dahl in Ames, Iowa. He worked in advertising at Donnelly Marketing in Nevada and was retired. Roger enjoyed antique cars, small engines and farm equipment, and classic trains and model railroading.

Roger passed away at 67 years of age on February 2, 2016 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Roger is survived by his father, Stanley Dahl of Huxley; his brother, Charles (Karla) Dahl of Huxley; and his nephew and niece, Joey Dahl and Andrea Dahl.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Dahl.
