Mrs. Mary Swan Stamm, wife of Mr. E. Stamm*, died at her home in South Sioux City after an illness of two or three weeks and her remains were interred in the Nevada Cemetery last Sunday morning. She was born in Allen county, Ohio, in 1834 and married in 1854. She was the mother of ten children, seven of whom with her husband survive her. Her residence was in Nevada from 1880 to 1887. She was a charter member of the Nevada Lutheran church and her funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by Rev. Mr. Sal--ur. She was a good woman and her death brings sorrow to old Nevada friends. Mr. Stamm accompanied the remains here.

The funeral and burial of Mrs. Stamm Sunday called to Nevada Mr. Stamm and Oscar, who came with the remains, Miss Olive Stamm from Cedar Rapids, and Mr. Cook, the son-in-law, who is a commercial traveler. Miss Olive will remain till to-morrow evening.
