--Jacob Fultz and family were called from Des Moines the last of the week by the death of little Bertha McConnell.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Bertha May McConnell was the daughter of Simeon McConnell and Jerusha Finley. Jacob Fultz, husband of Mariah (Finley) Fultz, was Bertha's uncle by marriage-- Mariah and Jerusha Finley being sisters.
