....Gideon Williams, brother of A. M. Williams of this place, was taken suddenly ill last Friday evening about six o'clock and died about half past ten. The cause of death was hemorrhage of the brain. His body was taken to Rochelle, Illinois for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Williams accompanied the remains there and the funeral took place at the Presbyterian church on Sunday afternoon. He was well known in this vicinity as he had been spending the winter here and will be missed by his many friends. The relatives have sympathy of the entire community....W. H. Williams of Rochelle, Illinois came here last Saturday to accompany the remains of his father to Illinois for burial....
