Mrs. Joanna McKnight Scott of Denver, Colorago, a lady who grew to womanhood among the earlier residents of Nevada has recently suffered affliction in the loss of her son, Thomas, a promising lad of sixteen, who, it will be remembered, accompanied his mother in her visit to old friends here a few years since. In passing around a motor car standing on a switch near the family residence in North Denver, he was struck, killed and his body shockingly mangles by a train that came round a curve and was running without warning signals.
