Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Betty Irene Dickerson was born August 31, 1929 to Walter and Eleanora (Mitchell) Good in Boone, Iowa. She married John Dickerson on October 29, 1948. He passed away on May 10, 2012. They farmed near Story City until moving into Story City in 1978. Betty was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Betty passed away at 86 years of age on December 29, 2015 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Survivors include three sons, John Dickerson of Dows, Mike Dickerson of Story City and Tom Dickerson of Omaha; six grandchildren, Trent, Ashley, Taylor, Chad, Joe and Chris; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother George.
