....Jan. 14th M. O. Morell died at his home northwest of Colo surrounded by his wife and children. Deceased was 77 years old and a well known and respected citizen. The funeral took place Jan. 16th at 2 P. M., Rev. Schnur of Nevada conducting the services. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all....

Magnus Olof Morell, who had been sick three months, died at his home in Nevada township Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1891. He was a native of Sweden and a little over 77 years of age. He had been a resident of this county for many years and was well thought of by his neighbors and friends. A wife, seven sons and one daughter survive him. All were beside him in the closing hours except the son, Anthony, who resides in Yuma, Colorado. His funeral services were conducted in the M. E. church, Colo, Friday 2 P. M., by the Rev. Mr. Schnur of Nevada. The family thankfully acknowledge great kindness received from neighbors and friends.
