From Nevada Representative December 17, 1890

Lyman M. Densmore, whose death occurred Sunday, Dec. 14th, was a native of North Georgetown, Ohio, and was born May 12th, 1848. He came with his mother's family to Nevada in the spring of 1869, since which time he has resided on the home farm just south of town. The illness of which he died was rheumatic in its character and of long duration. He was a great but patient sufferer. He was unmarried and leaves a mother, two brothers and four sisters to mourn his loss. He will be greatly missed by the home circle of which he was a leading member, and by his neighbors and acquaintances. His funeral services were conducted in the M. E. church Tuesday by Rev. J. E. Stauffacher of Iowa Center and were attended by a large and sympathetic congregation.
