DIED--At her residence four miles south-east on Friday, Nov. 7, 1890. Mrs. W. R. Finley, aged 62 years. Her maiden name was Eldana Johnson, and her birth place, Alleghany Co., N. Y. She was married to W. R. Finley Oct. 21st, 1847. They came to Story Co. in 1865, and brought up a large family of children, a number of whom still live in the old neighborhood. One, Mrs. McConnell, lives in Nevada. Mr. Finley was buried Oct. 8th, 1889. Her health had been poor for some time, yet she was not thought to be worse than usual until two days before her death. The funeral took place on Sabbath at the Summit Chapel, the services being conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson of Maxwell. She was a good woman, and died respected by all who knew her.
