....Miss Nellie Fahnstock died Sunday morning. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church Monday. She was buried in the Cambridge cemetery Monday afternoon. Nellie Fahnstock was, we think, as good and pure a woman as ever lived. We do not believe in perfection on earth as any person can....

The death of Miss Nellie Fahnstock Sunday morning after less than a week's illness, at Dr. Grafton's, in Cambridge, is unwelcome news. Miss Fahnstock in her long, pleasant, and successful connection with school work in Story county had become widely endeared. Three years ago she studied in Burlington for a time, and the engaged in kindergarten work at Cedar Rapids. A memorial service in that city next Sunday will testify to the high esteem she has won and the eminent success of the closing work of her life.
