Mr. Reese Pritchard, living two miles east of Maxwell, died on Friday 18th inst. after an illness of only 36 hours. He was a very good man, and held in high esteem by all his neighbors and friends, who feel the loss very much. The funeral took place at 11 A. M. Sunday in the C. P. church in Maxwell. Rev. R. A. Ferguson conducted the services in the presence of an immense throng of sorrowing people, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery.
