Story City.

The news of the death of Will Allen, of typhoid fever at Payallop, Washington, was telegraphed us last Sunday. Only the day before news was received that he was thought to be out of danger, but such it seems was not the case. Will was a fine young man only 27 years and gave promise of a useful and prosperous life. Words can not express our sorrow and out hearts go out in sympathy toward his wife and little daughter and other near relatives who are called to mourn his sudden death....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: William W. Allen was the son of Dr. Benjamin F. Allen and Louisa Cook. He married Livi Nelson on 14 March 1885 in Story County, Iowa.
