....Robert Carpenter, who has been in Nebraska, since last spring, came home two weeks ago Saturday. he was not feeling very well but thought it was just a cold. He grew worse and died last Tuesday. His funeral was held on Thursday at Center school house. He was an exemplary young man and will be sadly missed in the community....
