....Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Hopkins received the sad news from Dubuque that their daughter Mary had died at that place. She left here a few years ago to join the sisters of charily. Mr. Hopkins left for Dubuque Monday to attend the funeral, but Mrs. Hopkins could not leave, because Miss Phoebe is very low. They have indeed the sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement.
