Carl W. Tichenor, died at the home east of town Monday morning after an illness of several months duration. His malady was enlargement of the spleen and liver, particularly the former. A post mortem examination revealed the fact that its weight was eighteen times its normal weight. Mr. Tichenor was one of our most worthy and promising young men and was universally esteemed. He leaves a wife and one child and other relatives to mourn his loss. His funeral was held this morning. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family and friends.
