Died.

At his home in this city, Saturday evening, June 2, of consumption, Chas. Bobo, aged 29 years. The deceased was born in Tipton, Cedar county, but removed with his parents to Nevada while a child, and remained here until his death. He was unmarried and made his home with his mother. To the people among whom he had grown from childhood and spent the years of an early manhood, he was well known. Always of good heart and kindly disposition, he became a year or more ago an active and faithful member of the Good Templars, and more recently made professions of earnest faith in he Redeemer. His funeral, Monday, was largely attended, the Good Templars being present in a body, and was conducted by Rev. Bowman, assisted by Revs. Zeigler, Reid and Groat.

In Memoriam.

WHEREAS our brother, Charles Bobo, has been called from our midst to join the Grand Lodge above, and

WHEREAS with deep and heartfelt regret we part with him, we offer the following resolution:

Resolved, That in the loss of our brother, New Hope Lodge No. 140, I. O. G. T. has lost one of its earnest and true workers;

Resolved, That while our loss is our brother's eternal gain, yet we bow with sorrow to the decree of the Ominipotent One and part with our brother with regret;

Resolved, That this Lodge extend its sympathy to the bereaved family and recommend them to look for consolation in Him who alone giveth and taketh away; and

Resolved, That our Lodge room be draped in mourning for 30 days, and a copy of these resolutions be spread on the Ledge records, and published in the county papers of Nevada and be presented to the family.
