George Davis, son of John E. Davis of LaFayette township, was killed in the early part of the week while railroading in the northwestern part of the state. His remains were brought home and the funeral services held Friday at the residence of his parents. The obsequies were largely attended by sympathizing relatives and friends. The deceased was a worthy young man and his death is a great grief to his friends.
