Mrs. J. M. King, daughter of W. M. Starr, of Maxwell, died of consumption, at her residence in Maxwell on Saturday, Sep. 10th after a very lingering illness, aged 32 years and 3 days. Her husband is of the firm of Dickey & King. She left two children with her husband. The funeral was held on Sabbath conducted by Rev. B. B. Lane. Her husband and all the bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Margaret A. "Maggie" (Starr) King was the daughter of William Marsh Starr and Harriet Varden. She married James M. King on 25 August 1878 in Castle Grove, Jones County, Iowa.
