From Nevada Representative August 10, 1887
Alice, the little six year old daughter of H. T. Zerbe, of Sioux county, Nebraska, who, as reported in the last REPRESENTATIVE had been bitten by a rattlesnake, died from the effects of the bite last Wednesday. A good deal of indignation is expressed by the local paper, towards the physicians who had charge of the case for being so intoxicated as to be unable to properly treat the case. One of the doctors was Dr. Meredith, formerly of this county.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Alice May Zerbe was the daughter of Henry Thomas Zerbe and Alice Elizabeth Bixby.
