From Nevada Representativa February 16, 1887

Kittie (Morgan) Graft was born in Milwaukee Co., Wis., Oct 17th, 1858. With her parents came to Story Co., Iowa, April, 1865, was married to Mr. Samuel Graft Nov. 30th, 1881. In 1885 she with her husband moved to Belle Plaine, Iowa, where after a protracted illness during two years she passed from earth Feb. 13, 1887, we trust to joint her father (F. L. Morgan) also her sister Dora and her infant son who rest with their Saviour in the paradise of God. The funeral service was conducted by the writer in Colo on Monday, Feb. 14th, when the loved form was laid to rest awaiting the resurrection of the lost, She has left a husband, daughter, aged mother other friends to follow.
