Zearing, Died

Jerry D. Thomas, 18, Zearing, died Friday at a Iowa City hospital, where he had been taken Thursday.

Born at Highland, Kan., he had lived at Colfax and Ames before moving to Zearing.

Survivors include his father, James Thomas of Des Moines and his mother, Mrs. Emma Thomas of Zearing; three brothers Charles, Roger and Albert, all at Zearing and two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Petrus of Ames and Mrs. Sandra Jean McMullen of Zearing.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. from the Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. A. E. Wilken pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church will officiate.
