Arthur Thompson.

Arthur Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Thompson of Elwell passed away at his home about a mile and a half from Elwell from pneumonia following influenza. Mr. Thompson was about thirty years of age. He was married to Miss Glendora Warren about five years ago and to this union were born two children, one daughter and son, who with the mother are left to mourn his early departure as are also his parents and his grandmother with other relatives and a host of friends. Short funeral services were held at the hours by Rev. Bussenburg of Iowa Center Wednesday afternoon and interment was at the Center Grove cemetery. The entire family receive the sympathy from all their numerous friends. The wife and children were quite low at the time of the death with influenza.
