David Ward of 331 Main St who suffered a stroke of apoplexy Sunday passed away yesterday morning about 9:00 a.m.

Mr. Ward had been quite well until the time he suffered his stroke Sunday but after that he never rallied. He is a little past 70 years of age and leaves a wife and one son. He is an old soldier but not a member of the local post.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10:00 at Ontario, Rev. Harris will officiate.
