Mrs. Otis Briggs has returned from Highmore, Dakota, where she had been called by the death and funeral of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. D. D. Briggs. Mrs. Briggs, the younger, is spoken of by the Highmore Herald as having been a woman of rare and amiable qualities, whose death will be an irreparable loss to her husband, an infant son and many friends.
