Died.

At his home near Nevada, Monday, June 29th, Cornelius Joor, aged 60 years, 11 months and 18 days. The deceased was born in Holland July 11, 1824. He came to America in 1842 and to Iowa in 1855. He enlisted in the 14th Iowa Reg. in 1861 and afterwards in the 32d Reg. He united with the Methodist church in 1854 and with the Cumberland Presbyterian about three years ago. He leaves a wife and two children, Dr. Peter Joor of Maxwell and Miss Abba Joor. In the absence of Rev. A. K. Bone, the funeral services at the grave were led by the veterans of the Grand Army Post. The funeral was very largely attended, great numbers of people gathering to express their sympathy with the family and their respect for a valued and highly esteemed neighbor and citizen.
